Web browsing as if you were at home
With the patented SpeedNet® technology from EMC the problem of latency while browsing the web at sea is history. Using a proprietary intelligent protocol and global backbone, SpeedNet® predictively fetches, compresses and pushes multiple layers of websites at once to local servers. SpeedNet® works in the background on mobile and desktop browsers, to accelerate page load times dramatically. SpeedNet® is delivered as a standard feature, not an expensive option.
Single antenna for data and live TV
The NexusOcean’s live TV solution consists of hundreds of live TV channels available on our global C-band network. From the summer of 2016 the roll out of the same service on the global Ku band network will start. The broadcasting of the TV channels is delivered over the same Ku- and C- band antenna which is used for the data and voice services. This unique solution offered by NexusOcean of delivering the data, voice and live TV over a single antenna will save our clients the CAPEX of an additional TVRO antenna. The solutions configuration will make it possible for every crew member to watch TV on her or his own connected device ( e.g. tablet, laptop or smart phone).
On the special events channel many hours of events, like NHL, NBA, NFL Super Bowl, Premier League, Oscars, Australian V8 and much more, that you don't want to miss are broadcasted.
