About us
In Latin Nexus means “the act of binding together; bond” and is derived from the word nectō “bind”. In many ways this translation is applicable for NexusOcean as the Ocean’s internet provider. We bind our clients offshore assets to the rest of the world through an internet connection. But there is more to it and that is what became clear when Richard de Wit, MD and founder of NexusOcean, met with the management of the providing partner EMC connected. The course was set and NexusOcean was established as a SatCom solutions provider with the task to be the binding factor for the clients-, employees-, shareholders- and partners of NexusOcean.
The team behind NexusOcean has been active as ship-owners and managers before they brought their knowledge to the SatCom industry in the past years. This unique situation will make that NexusOcean will be able to better understand the customer’s needs for a matching SatCom solution.
